At this point in the growing season, you should be beginning to see flowers on many of your summer vegetables. Here are a few photos to let you know you are on the right path.
By the way, botanically speaking , cucumbers, as well as, eggplants, peppers and other plants that produce a flower and then pollinated are classified as fruits. They are seed producing. However, much like tomatoes and squash they are often perceived, prepared and eaten as vegetables.
